Ordering
To
place an
order, please complete the order
form. We just need simple details at this stage - your details,
the wedding date and the type and number of each item of stationery.
You can
choose the exact fonts, sizes and wording later. Don't worry, the price
per item of the stationery is the same no matter what you choose. Upon
receipt of an order, a 40% deposit is required before work begins on the
stationery. This is payable by cheque, bank transfer, or we can send you
a PayPal invoice.
We
offer a special 10% discount for orders over £250.
We
have various options available to you, so we will send an additional
form for you to fill in extra details. This will be sent out after we get
your order form & deposit. Start having a think as soon as you can about
which font you wish to have, size of card and which
wording. We'll need the additional form back promptly so we can
proceed with your order.
We do
have standard wording
examples for each item of stationery, however if you wish to use your
own please email it
to us. All information for the wording / guest names must be supplied
typed by email.
Please check all names are correct before sending.
Once
the order, deposit and additional items have been received, we then
produce proofs of the 'first dispatch' items (these
are usually invitations, RSVPs and information cards). These will be posted
to you for proof reading and approval. Once approved,
we then begin production. We recommend proceeding with 'first dispatch' items
at least 3-4 months before you wish to send them out.
We complete
your 'first dispatch' items within 4 - 6 weeks after getting your approved
proofs.
We then
work on your 'on the day' items (such as orders of service, menus and place
cards). The information
to complete these must be with us eight
weeks before your wedding. The only exception is information for place cards,
which you can send up to four weeks before the day. As with 'first dispatch'
items you will be emailed layout proofs for all your 'on the day' items, which
you must approve.
We
recommend ordering a few extra cards in case of last minute changes or additional
stationery required. We recommend
ordering
one order of service per guest, plus extra
for Minister, Wedding Party etc and keepsakes. It is usual to order one menu
per couple, although 2 – 3 per table is acceptable.
You are very welcome to order your stationery in stages (eg: save the date
cards first, invitations later) and then, when you have an idea of final numbers
and a full guest list, you can order additional items such as orders of service,
place cards and menus.
